Didn't respond when asked.

just keeps ringing. will not leave a phone message. who are they?

I was called today around 12:50 PM Eastern time -- My caller ID identified the company as CCI and they asked for the lady of the house -- mispronouncing our last name with a thick accent, which sounded Indian. After asking, "Who may I say is calling?" The person mumbled a name and then started in on his spiel -- I believe it was for the electric bill -- addressing me as the lady of the house. When I then said, "I didn't say I was her, I asked you who you were." The person identified himself as "Kyle" (yeah right). I then asked, "What does this call pertain to? So I can tell her who's calling and why." Kyle became flustered and said, "I'll just call back later if your brain is too busy -- I think you are crazy." I said "Excuse me?" and then the line went dead. First of all, it is our right to ask who is calling our phones and for what purpose. Even if I AM the lady of the house, I don't have to reveal that until I know who I am dealing with. I am not going to proceed with a call from a caller who runs rough-shod over you in attempting to get you to agree to something or give up critical information. When I called the number back I received a message stating that the number was disconnected. I then blocked the number for future calls.
