That number won't stop dialling me

I had precisely the same phone call today

Just got a call stating that the Govt is giving me a grant for $7000 because I pay my bills and taxes on time and I don't have a criminal record. Knowing this was bogus, I hung on to see what else they were going to say. I got an official Id # and a callback number. I was to use the callback number when I got to the place where they wired me the money so that they could tell me how to claim it. They asked me if I had a CVS around me. I said sure. So then they said they just wired it there (not sure how they could have, since I didn't tell them which one or where I was at the time I got the call).

Toward the end of the call, I guess to try to make it sound legit, the caller (a woman who sounded like she was from India, and definitely in a call center) made it a point to tell me that she couldn't ask for any personal info in order to claim the money. So she told me to immediately walk over to this mythical CVS and take my official id#, with drivers license, and make sure I call the callback number before I walked into the store so that they can tell me exactly what needed to be done to claim the money.

Yeah, right...like I am going to do that.

I received several calls from this number today, all of them insisting I have been awarded a grant by the US Government that never has to be paid back. One call had it at $5K+; the other at $7K. Has anyone received any similar 'offer'?
