Yes, I responded to an ad on tv for control over tinnitus (ringing in the ears) - I suffer from it badly. It was promising a guide about how to live with it. I texted CURE to a 5 digit number. I received a quick reply from ACTION saying that they would phone me on the number 028 9244 4052 and would send a guide to me and we talked at length about tinnitus. Although polite the young Irish man stressed about fundraising - this didn't surprise me! I told him I was on Widows Pension which is very minimal, I am buying 15p tins of beans! He said he understood and not to worry. But throughout the phone call he stressed about fundraising twice more! I was just as persistent.

I have picked up a bug from my family over the Christmas period and I had three missed calls from this number, but due to sickness I ignored the calls. Couldn't even see straight. I tried to call them back today and got an Irish lady saying she was from a cosmetics company!! She was confused at my situation with the calls. I noticed from another company that one caller said they were from Lisbon and another mentioned the tinnitus. Think they are spam!
